MDR’s inflatable boat paint restores inflatables back to their original color and luster from a multi-colored, faded or discolored condition. Can be used on Hypalon, PVC, or rubber inflatables. An easy to apply, waterbased formula. Cleans up with water, flexible enough to last even when boat is folded. We strongly recommend the use of Bixler’s Elixir Inflatable Boat Cleaner with this product (see related products below) as it is a benign non-citrus formula that leaves no residue that can effect the drying agent of the paint. One quart covers approximately 100 sq. ft. For optimum performance, 2 quarts are recommended. Keeps inflatables looking like new. Use in conjunction with ToobSeal for porosity and slow leaks (see related products below). Available in light gray, dark gray, white and black. Tested and ranked #1 inflatable boat paint by Practical Sailor.

Instructions:
To prepare the surface for coating, clean thoroughly with a compatible cleaner, such as Bixler’s Elixir Inflatable Cleaner (see related products below). Do not use citrus based cleaners, MEK, household cleaners or petroleum based products to clean the surface. Rinse and dry. Do not use acetone, MEK or other volatile cleaners. A clean dry surface, free of scale, dirt, grease, oil or other foreign matter will provide the optimum performance of this coating. Inadequate surface preparations will result in unsatisfactory performance. Prior to painting be sure to remove all dust, debris and other surface contaminants generated by the cleaning process. Stir or shake well for a minimum of 5 minutes to insure complete pigment dispersal. Apply by either foam brush or roller. Allow a minimum of 4 hours between coats and a minimum of 24 hours before launching. Two coats are recommended.
