This is a water based cuprous oxide coating formulated especially for inflatables to prevent the attachment of both plant and animal fouling when immersed in either fresh or mid-temperature range salt water.  This coating requires no primer when used directly on Hypalon, CSM, PVC, vinyl, fiberglass or wood.  For optimum performance, two coats are recommended.  The coverage of this product is 100 square feet per quart when applied at recommended thickness.  For bottom paint removers, see Orange Off in related products below.

Instructions for MDR Bottom Paint:
Inflate boat to normal pressure before applying bottom coating.  Remove all old coating and fouling residue.  Clean thoroughly with a compatible inflatable boat cleaner (see related products below).  A clean, dry surface, free of scale, corrosion, dirt, grease, oil, marine fouling, or other foreign matter will provide the optimum performance of this coating.  Inadequate surface preparation will result in unsatisfactory performance.  Apply by either brush or roller.  Allow a minimum of 4 hours between coats and minimum of 24 hours between launching.  Apply above 50 degrees F.
